Jane Adams ( Washington , 1º de abril de 1965 ) é uma atriz americana .
Biografia
Nascida em Washington , Jane Adams formou-se em ciências políticas pela University of Washington e Cornish College of the Arts , onde se interessou por teatro. Em 1989 ele se formou na Juilliard School com honras.
Carreira
Adams começa a atuar no Seattle Repertory Theatre, ganhando um Tony Award de Melhor Atriz em An Inspector Calls , bem como o Outer Critics Circle Award de Melhor Atriz em I Hate Hamlet . Em 1998 estrelou o filme Happiness - Felicità junto com Philip Seymour Hoffman , um filme premiado pela crítica. No ano seguinte, ela fez parte do elenco permanente do sit-com de sucesso Frasier , no papel do cirurgião Mel Karnofsky, e segunda esposa de Niles, até 2000. Ela estrelou o filme independente Songcatcher , ao lado de Janet McTeer , vencendo o especial Prêmio do júri no Festival de Cinema de Sundance . Em junho de 2009, ele faz parte do elenco da série de televisão Hung, da HBO, e de 2016 a 2019 estrelou a série de antologia Easy da Netflix.
